Pastor Yolanda Bynum, Co-Founder

Yolanda Bynum served as a professional photographer and audio-visual technician in the United States Army. As an Army Non-commissioned Officer, she served in the White House during the Clinton Administration and was awarded the prestigious US Army Presidential Citation Badge for her work there. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business and Early Childhood Education.
Pastor Bynum was ordained by Dr. Paul Richardson of Spirit of Truth Ministries in Richmond, VA and helped organize the first World Prayer Services in August 2003 that brought a culturally diverse group of Christians and ministries to the National Mall to pray for World Peace. She founded Must Seed Ministries in 2002. She also helped plan the first massive food giveaway in Baltimore in September 2003. Pastor Bynum sponsored the first ever 2001 Kommunity Festival working with the American Red Cross to host the largest pre-911 blood drive in the nation. She also founded the B.I.G. House transitional housing for youth dealing with homelessness. She has worked with the Salvation Army on clothing drives and with many other outreach services.

Terry Lee, Co-Founder

Terry A. Lee the Co-Founder of the Kommunity Festival is the proud and successful owner of Anchored Productions a production and management company located in the nation’s capital. The idea of being a Vetrepreneur (Veteran Owned Business) for over 15 years is what makes his heart beat! Mr. Lee is a Retired Army Sergeant Major. Anchored Productions has and does provide total productions for some of the nations largest and most notorious events such as: The infamous March for the care (annual walk for breast cancer awareness), Fannie Mae’s Walk for the Homeless, (held annually on the National Mall in Washington, DC), and the Caribbean Festival just to mention a few. Anchored Productions has a national and international presence traveling far and wide (los Vegas, New York, North Carolina / South Carolina and Florida to name a few. Anchored Productions produced the renowned FIFA U-17 World Cup, in Nigeria).
Anchored Productions is known for community outreach by providing employment to homeless men and women. Terry, the owner seeks out grass-root non-profits geared toward helping dis-advantaged youth with exposure opportunities to get their message out to the community that they service.
Aside from ensuring that show-time is flawless by providing staging, lighting, sound and the perfect venue the talent is also secure by this elite company that is known to be a one-stop shop. Providing clean-up crews, permits (when required), moon-bounces, clowns, face-painters, photographers/videographers, carnivals, whatever you need Anchored Productions ensures every aspect of your event exceeds your hopes.

Byron Love, Project Manager

Mr. Byron Love really enjoys helping people improve their lives through his volunteer work, inspirational writing, and gospel music. He is the author of “The Golden Rhythm: Righteous and Empowered Living” (ISBN: 9781432750732), a Christian self improvement guidebook, available at online retailers such as Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com. Mr. Love has been a writer for The Vine News, a DC Metro area Christian newspaper, and is currently a liberal Christian writer for the Baltimore Examiner. He is a member of Greater Mount Nebo AME Church.
Mr. Love is a founding board member and vice chairman of the Unity Economic Development Corporation (www.unityedc.org), a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that provides foreclosure, homeowner, and financial literacy counseling. He founded Gospel’s Grace, Inc. (www.gospelsgrace.org), a nonprofit corporation that provides Christian event management services. He has sponsored or promoted almost a dozen gospel events in the DC Metro area.
Mr. Love is married to Pamela Carey Love, daughter of Rev James and Marion Carey. He and their three children, Christian, Alycia and Aliyah, reside in Odenton, MD.
Mr. Love sings with “Another Group,” an a cappella quartet-style gospel group, participating in performances at venues throughout Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware.
Mr. Love is currently the Director of IT Consulting Services at Intrepid Solutions and Services, Inc. He is the former Director of the Program Management Office at Force 3, Inc. where he oversaw dozens of government contracts worth millions of dollars and a staff of over 115 people. Mr. Love retired from the Air Force Reserves in the rank of Major after 21 years of service. Mr. Love is a certified life skills consultant. He holds a Masters of Business Administration from Averett University, a BA in Computer Science from Thomas Edison State College, and two associate degrees as well.
